UpSide is a small simple web page that allows you to write text normally, and it displays it upside down at the top of the screen so someone opposite you can read it easily. It's ideal for situations where you want to be opposite someone, but can't hear each other for some reason.
Installation
On some devices you can install this web page as a Progressive Web App (PWA):
- Android (with Chrome): Open this page in Chrome, then select the three vertical dot menu, and choose "Add to home screen".
Privacy
No information you enter into the text area ever leaves your device. The whole application runs locally, and is hosted as a static page. This means once it's been downloaded there is no further communication with the server.
